About Kebab House

Tucked away in the Chamberí neighborhood, this spot draws in those looking for a straightforward, no-frills kebab experience. The menu is simple — veal kebabs featuring fresh, lean meat paired with crisp lettuce, tomato, and a distinctive white yogurt-based sauce that feels more authentic than your typical fast-food fare. It’s a place where people often come for a quick, casual bite that’s both filling and reasonably priced.

Inside, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal, fitting the casual dining style of the area. It’s well suited for solo diners, groups stopping by for a quick lunch, or anyone who appreciates a consistent take on classic flavors. The seating is practical rather than fancy, complemented by amenities like wheelchair-accessible facilities and convenient parking options, making it accessible for a diverse crowd.

Drinks commonly ordered here include a selection of soft drinks and beers, with a local lager and even alcohol-free options to complement the food. While the kitchen keeps things simple, occasional variations in preparation are part of the experience, reflecting the human touch behind the counter. Overall, those who appreciate straightforward, honest kebab without too many extras tend to find themselves coming back.

What Locals Say

The oldest and most pure kebab place in Madrid. You can get the original kebab with real meat and white sauce made with yogurt

Excellent kebab, very simple and straight forward: very kebab with or without hot sauce. The mean is lean and perfectly spiced, fresh ingredients, great price. Highly recommend!

Nice kebab, ordered 2 with spicy voith time made normal, and one was realy great second was not so, as I think depend who makes them.

Quite nice for a kebab place. The kebab was different than I'm used to. They use veal instead of beef or chicken. The kebab had a bit too much garlic sauce for my liking, next time I'd ask them to make it with a bit less. The kebab was also a bit cold when I got it, but I'm sure they're freshly made, just maybe the other ingredients are kept a bit too cold. Overall I'd say it's worthy of it's rating and is definitely far above the regular Madrid kebab place.

The food was simply amazing. However, the Latina girl who works there doesn’t seem suited for this type of job—she doesn’t really know how to treat customers the way a waitress should. Otherwise, my friends and I would still be eating here, because, as I said, the food is incredible. Thanks.

You see what you get. Amazing Kebab, nothing else. Well, also a very warm service from the manager Moises, who is very polite and active. Are you hungry and you want fast, great flavor and no bullshit? Come now. Heads up: you might wait a while in peak hours.. go with take out

Hands down the best kebab we had in our life. The meat was so tender inside and crispy outside. The spicy sauce added lot more flavor to the kebab. The owner/ chef/ bar tender did a great job by attending to the customers quicker. We visited this place twice and we had a great experience both the time. They take only cash here.

Kebabs are great, but the spicy is lacking in spice and I have had better kebabs elsewhere but theses are still delicious. The outdoor seating is very nice and the staff is all amazing. Have eaten here multiple times and they are consistent. Would recommend.
